I was very skeptical when I ordered this jacket as I was ordering for the cold temperatures in chicago and there were no reviews, but it is an excellent jacket at an amazing price. I wore it around on a snowy day of 28 degrees, and it was nice and warm in there. Although it does not appear to be waterproof water did not seem to penetrate the inside and invade my warmth. The pockets do not have zippers so it was concerning that my phone might fall out or I might lose a glove in a snowball fight. It didn't look cheap. The fur comes off if you want to, just make sure you get the little flap around the fur in. It's nice and long and loose enough to fit a couple of layers under.
