perfectI bought this for my Alaskan cruise. It kept me warm & mostly dry. We did a canoe safari & it kept me dry for about 2 hours of constant rain. Shortly after that water started leaking through the seams where the hood & coat meet. It was a major shock when freezing cold water just started pouring through onto my neck & back.The jacket had a nice overall fit. It was just tight in the hips. I am not pear-shaped either. If I would have sized up, it would’ve been fine. In the end, I went with a better fitting jacket (a different brand).I am a very big girl and have been looking for a decent light(ish) jacket for some time now. I love that the wrists are not the scrunched up kind and are loose. I love that there is an attached hood and that the lining is comfy on the inside. Some reviews state that there is no comfy lining in the arms which is correct, but I personally like it like that. It helps ease my longer sleeve shirts right in without the annoying tug them through kind of thing. Overall, excellent purchase for the plus size woman!Exactly what I was looking for - a light weight jacket, but stylish looking. The fleece lining gives you a nice warm comfort feeling. It will keep me warm enough when it is cool, but light enough that I will not get overly warm wearing it. The fact that the outside material is water repellent is a bonus.So often plus-size clothing - especially outerwear - is sized crazy but this fits perfectly, with a little extra room making sweaters for layering very easy. The jacket is super warm but very very lightweight- easy for movement, shopping, errands, walking, or going out!This Jacket is just what I wanted for rainy, chilly days. It is light weight, but warm and cozy.It is a little too big, especially across the shoulders, but from other reviews, it was not a surprise.And a touch too big is better than too small. And it looks good!It’s more of a light jacket/protects you from the rain jacket.Cute but not for colder weather.
